Jack is three and quite large for an Eskie. he's about 46 pounds. I call him, 'The Moose'. He's the sweetest Eskie I've had. In case you're wondering, I've had 4, well 5 if you count Sammy, my parents (deceased) Eskie. he has hip dysplasia, so he's not the most nimble dog. He doesn't jump a lot.
Max, or Maxi, as I call him is about 9 and I adopted him earlier this year from the Eskie Rescue folks in Maryland. I had adopted another Eskie from them, a sweet senior named Nikko, who went to the Bridge right before Thanksgiving last year. Maxi is a mini and full of energy and spunk for a senior. He loves zooming through the woods when he's off-leash.
He and Jack get along well. Jack's bigger, but submissive, so Maxi quickly became the pack leader.
I work from home so we venture to the park every day for exercise, rolling in dead things, and eating gross piles of gunk. That would be the dogs, not yours truly.
